So I was stuck in my weekend league using the team linked, having very bad servers and some bad luck in general and I was considering stopping and gold 2 like I usually do. I was 15-7 which isn't great for me, but then this magician was released. Sold future stars valverde the fraud, and replaced him with this monster, added a hunter as idrissa gueye is more defensive. I play 352 with gueye on stay back and modric on balanced, his pace, shooting, passing and especially his dribbling are just fkn perfect for this game. He scores every shot he takes in and around the box, can defend well enough but he dominates the midfield. I got him done for 40k and i swear to you I would spend upwards of 800k on this card. For 200k this guy is absolutely the best value for money player imo. With him, I went on to go from 15-7 to 23-7 he really is a game changer, hit my first elite of the year. Hope you enjoy him as much as I do, he is phenomenal :)

I was originally looking for a central CAM to play in my team to finish off Weekend League. So I moved Mertens out wide and put Modric central which was not working. I then swapped them in game to test something and lone behold one of the best right cam's I've used. I put a hunter on him to boost his pace aswell and was very suprised at how fast he was too. his shooting is decent if the ball falls to him but I would mainly look to pass it off. he is also a good cdm as towards the end of the game I'd move him there to bring on subs. would definitely recommend this card.

Overall this card is amazing, his passing and dribbling are like I have never seen on a card before. The? card is definitely good value for 200K and even better value if you have untradable that you don't use. THe only downside that I could find with this card is his positioning. The defensive awareness and the attacking positioning conflict with each other making the card run up and down the pitch even if you have a stay forward on him, his strength was also a bit of an issue. Overall I would say to buy this card.

I've played 20 games with this card in division rivals so far (div5-6), and I've played him as a central attacking midfielder for the first 10 games with hawk in a 4-3-2-1 and with an anchor in the next 10 games as a cdm with balanced instructions
I can say he's a complete midfielder, can play anywhere in the midfield! The dribbling is amazing, passing is great, if i have to make a comparison i would say he's similar to tots de jong!
We have had Allan before for around 250k, which was really cheap and here we have modric with better stats for around 200k which is amazing!

I've seen plenty of comments/reviews of this guy as a CDM, usually paired with an Essien or Fabinho and using him as a link up guy. With his attributes, Luka can play anywhere in your formation, but there's only one spot where he can influence every aspect of your game, and that's orchestrating your assault at CAM. A quick, instinctive, 99% double Y passer, he is at his best right after turning the ball over, when your opponents Reguilon strips your striker and attempts an outlet. Guess what. 99 interceptions. 99. Throw whatever chem style you want on him he don't care. 99 interceptions. He is a vacuum sucking up wayward passes and spitting them forward onto your finishers. Play him wherever you like. Stick him on the touchline and let him call plays for fs I don't care. We're all in pursuit of our endgame XIs, and there is no endgame CAM better than Luka Modric, the best SBC of Fifa 20.

When this card came out I knew I had to get it even though I had Saul tots (great player btw). I did him for 10k and it was a great decision. His passing is incredible I can no longer blame ea for bad passing as his is pinpoint. Defending: good with a senitial which was a surprise. Physical: quite good actually. Pace: great for btb cdm. Dribbling: best part of this card this guy strafe dribbling is insane. Shooting: good enough for cdm/cm.

I still can't believe that this card only needs a 86 and 85 rated squad. He is a gift with all of these sick upgrades. I think he is one of the best box 2 box midfielder in game

So I have used this Modric card for all of five games, so please keep in mind that the sample size is rather small. However, in these six matches, Premium Flashback Modric has controlled the midfield playing right CM in a 433(4). Since CMs act kind of like CDMs in this formation, his interception stat has been really noticeable. Whenever he finds himself in a passing lane, he gets the ball, and his pace, dribbling and passing allow him to quickly transition the game into the attack.
I have a counter-attacking play-style, so this has served me very well. Speaking of his pace, it feels faster than the stats would suggest, and I have left him on the original basic chem style. This must be due to his 90 acceleration, and since I rarely sprinted long straight lines with the player, the 83 sprint speed didn't hinder him much. For a midfielder, he has more than sufficient pace.
His passing has been excellent. He got two nifty backheel assists in the six-yard box in game 3 and has displayed the ability to thread the needle with long through balls and lobbed through balls.
It is his dribbling, however that has stolen the show. His control over the ball is total. It stays really close to his feet and he feels more responsive than any other player I have used this FIFA.
His shot has also been solid, though it is not THE reason to complete his SBC. I haven't really noticed his 82 finishing stat to be a weakness, though I will likely put a chem style on him to improve it a bit. He scored 4 goals in the 5 games, and all came from well within the 18-yard box. I have attempted maybe 5 or 6 longshots from around 20-24 yards out and, with my luck, hit the post three times, so his longshots have been quite dangerous.
All in all, he has slotted into my team very nicely and would probably go for 300-350K on the open market, so having the opportunity to get him for 200K is great!

I got TOTS Kroos from my La Liga player picks. I used him 2 Wl's and I was not impressed. He feels terribly slow and his med/med workrates are not good. When the Modirc sbc came out I was in doubt of I should do him. I was curious that he is better than Kroos. I both used them as attacking cdm in the 4-2-3-1. Kroos shooting was fenomenal but his defending, dribbeling and pace felt terribly at slow gameplay. Modric is different, his high/high workrates fits perfect for the role is using him. At first, his defending is good enough at this point of the game, his 99 intreceptions is just amazing, even as his passing and dribbling. He felt so quick with the ball. When he comes to a scoring posesion he can finish it, but not that good as Kroos could. The biggest downpoint of this card is his 75 strenght, I boosted with an anchor chemestry style, but it still feels pretty crap at some point. When he face player as Ronaldo, R9 or Lewandowski he is physically to weak. Overall I think this card is better than TOTS Kroos.
